But it is someone else's fault. or rather the BSOA changed it's foundational creed... When I was a scout we took an oath and recited that oath every stinkin' week, The creed said in part "I pledge to be... morally straight, and physically strong", which was code for being heterosexual, and not weak. The Mormons didn't change their creeds. So how is believing something in sincerity and good faith "homophobic"?
How does "morally straight" mean heterosexual exactly?
"Being morally straight means to live your life with honesty, to be clean in your speech and actions, and to be a person of strong character. Boy Scout Oath - Us Scouting Service Project Inc" www.usscouts.org/ADVANCE/BOYSCOUT/BSOATH.ASP
I thought it meant to do the right thing. I had problems being morally straight when volunteering for LDS Corp as a missionary. I was naive in that you were expected to lie for the church.
