We'll never know one way or the other, but it's not too hard to imagine the top leaders indulging in the holy of the holies on Thursday nights. What if they have their own barista or brewmaster with all the non-mo trappings? A cigar as well?

Nobody would be the wiser.

God seems singularly humorless, which is too bad. Creating a pathological virus for which coffee provides immunity would be hilariously ironic.

Ok, the platypus. I'll give god credit for that bit of humor.

until you realize it's one of the few mammals that still secretes its own poison and, while not lethal to humans, is extremely painful. Or maybe that's funny too--I can't tell, I've had 5 cups of coffee.

A $52,000 salary involving coffee?

Maybe I should consider a career change.

The problems are: why are are curators paid so low? Further, why is it necessary to have gourmet coffee in an art venue to bring in paying traffic?

It led to the headache I woke up with going away by the time I finished my 2nd cup this morning.

I started drinking coffee when I was fourteen (1972). In the cafe downtown, the coffee was a dime for a bottomless cup and cream and sugar. The waitress knew I wasn't going to tip, because I was poor. She was cool about it. I would walk two miles to town to have a coffee and then look for friends.

You can see the devil in the works. I associated with gentiles on purpose. It drove my father nuts, but I couldn't handle being around Mormons all the time. Family makes it even worse. But the coffee has always been there for me, and I take it the same way today: diner coffee with one lump sugar and one ounce cream.

I loved the smell of coffee in my grandma's house. I hated the tobacco smoke though.

Must have been The Devil influencing me that I wasn't coffee adverse as a kid.

There was a time, not long ago, when Brits drank only instant coffee.

I was talking to a cousin a year ago about out grandparents. She left the church long before I did. She didn't even know our grandparents drank coffee. I guess she didn't know what it smelled like at that age. Most of my aunts and uncles on my dad's side drank alcohol including my dad, but not my mom.

I always worried as a kid about my dad being with us in the CK because of that damn coffee.

I like the sweet coffee drinks, but I'm too cheap to buy them for me. I buy them for my son. Now, does that make sense??? My diet coke is cheaper.
