It was like the Abe Vigoda page. Everybody thought Fish was dayud, but he wasn't.

Hear that, ziller? He did not die until later. Now he is dead.

Abe knew about this site http://www.abevigoda.com

And he was pretty cool about it: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/arts-and-entertainment/wp/2016/01/26/the-decades-long-history-of-the-abe-vigoda-death-hoax/

(Like BoJ, these ultralong URLs drive me nuts. And before anyone asks, we can't use URL shorteners for obvious reasons, you miscreants!)

Wow that's a long life filled with many good accomplishments during the golden age of Hollywood. The article also says he helped end the hollywood blacklist which is an unfortunate thing to be remembered for. The radicalization of the industry is one of the great tragedies of the 1900s. It started out so American so patriotic, with the great MGM musicals, the John Ford Westerns, The Walt Disney classics, but the oddballs and agitators with an agenda pushed the boundaries ever further to the weird side, experimenting in the unknown and strange, it turned into experimenting in the ugly, They went so far that now I can say movies by and large are terrible, the beauty, the soundtracks, the heroes are all gone in the name of diversity of thought. Just look at the list of upcoming Disney movies. It's all re-runs mostly done poorly, and way too many Johny Depp and the Rock movies.

Did you just endorse Joseph McCarthy?

I hope you are really, really stupid because that would be far preferable to the alternative.

What's the record for length-of-trolling on a religion/anti-religion site?

He is remembered for playing a slave that fought back against things you endorse. The beauty of Rome never was that great for the people they oppressed with their beautiful spectacles spattered with human blood.

He was Jewish and changed his name. Says a lot about the society you apparently worship.

Howard Fast bowdlerized history though. Spartacus led a slave rebellion but there is no evidence he ever wished to abolish slavery in the Roman Empire. These are two separate things.

I never said there was.

I believe this is endorsing oppression of diversity in thought. I'm extrapolating it to people's. In the ancient world thinking differently could land one into slavery.

Pittock Mansion is either Jordan or a would-be Jordan, injecting his preoccupation with socialism and cultural Marxism into a discussion that had nothing to do with it.

Don't take this joker, who may well be appearing as Fremen in a different thread, seriously.

One of my favorites. Loved Spartacus. He was also a great writer who authored a number of books.
