What was a publicity stunt? Utah? The 5 children? They were actually ages 15 to 36? Was the blog itself a publicity stunt?
Was this reported in the news somewhere?
What does formula have to do with anything? Was she a formulaic blogger who followed a pattern of deception, or was her blog about baby formula? Was she a she?
JS's pre-blog blog about the First Vision, now THAT was a publicity stunt.
I've answered the call of lactation. When the first born fruit of my loins was a wee baby (back in my BYU days) I took some time off in the summer and went to Palm Springs to visit family and do some work.
While there, my wife and I went to Disneyland for the day while my sister watched our son. My wife brought a breast pump and by the time we got back to the car to leave, they were rock hard and about to burst, so she tried pumping, but to no avail.
Finally in desperation, she asked me for help. If I could just get the milk started and flowing, she could switch to the pump.
I did my part and fulfilled my duty, but the pump just didn't end up working. So we drove back to P.S., fully engorged, grabbed our son from a dead sleep and plugged him onto one of them......ahhhhhh, relief at last.
call? There had to be family around if not a good friend. I've also never heard of someone drying up immediately. I wasn't able to nurse my twins, so I wouldn't really know from experience. And then she agreed to be in the news?
When I first heard the story, I only heard that a woman had called for formula for her baby and I thought she must be extremely poor. Doesn't look like this lady is.
as far as I recall (~ 30 yrs ago last), each time DW & I brought home a new TAX DEDUCTION, (er, Bundle of Joy, yeah, that's what they were!) the hospital sent some formula home with us, I always thought it was a gift from whichever company was good with the hospital....
her blog is very white and delightsome, I guess she was running out of things to write about to promote her CK "lifestyle"...the milk wasn't drying up, it was those paid posts and freebies!
