It does not mean what the church is saying today. It indicates something tangible, not something that is a spiritual withdrawal. I know Dusty Rusty clarified what it is but it is a skin like I have skin on my body. Anyone else have anything to add to this.

People in Calgary Alberta that are TBM are all excited about this definition that Dusty Rusty gave as it shows the Church is true. When I tell them I grew up in the 50 and 60's and had to defend the Church position they tell me to get with it as this is a new time and its time to move forward and quit living in the past. These are converts from the 70's onward.

Of course it means actual skin. Otherwise, why was the pre-1978 priesthood-temple exclusion DOCTRINE based on skin color? And why did they change their sacred scriptural text of 2 Nephi 30:6 in 1981? It makes no sense if it's merely a "spiritual withdrawal."

Mormons just say "move forward" so that they don't have to think about why their prophets were so terribly wrong for 120 years. They don't like to be reminded of all that inconvenient history because if past prophets were full of s***, the current crop just might be too.

TBMs are about as sharp as a billiard ball.

The scary/amusing part isn't the new definition for skin of blackness by the Mormon leaders, but that so many Mormons are not only prepared to swallow it but excited to do so.

So if you don't like being called a racist, or white supremacist, redact the racist, white supremacist words of your racist, white supremacist God or just accept the reputation you earn every day you propagate white supremacist/racist myths by publishing and distributing them world wide with the world's largest army of white supremacist/racist brainwashers.

Since 1830 there have been 4 to 5 thousand changes to the BoM. But for some reason they won’t change this.

It's ironic that the moment somebody in the media misidentifies a member of the Fundamentalist CoJCoLDS as a "MORmON", LDS Inc issues a press release that day denying Fundamentalist MORmONs are, in fact, MORmONs, and clarifies that they are members of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, not MORmONs! and there's no such thing as MORmONs!

Abraham 1 talks about priesthood limitation by lineage and race a few times all about the African lineage spouse of Ham. Given that explicit pronouncement, the skin of blackness spin currently popularized is untenable. That second witness makes clear that the historic LDS racist past is doctrinal. Not policy interpretations or fringe usage interpretations.

If the BoM is the second witness of Christ, the BoA is the second witness of LDS bigotry.
