I report at 8:00, should be done with surgery by about noon, and expect to spend the night in the hospital and come home Friday. I am NOT excited about having my elbow glued to my side for several weeks, but when the physical therapy is well underway, it should be much better than it is now.

You guys know how much I appreciate your support as a community, so I'll say ahead of time, I love y'all and THANK YOU!!!

Physios are good folks. They'll whip you back into shape after the MDs have done their thing.

Glad to know your daughter is there for you and your husband too. All you have to focus on now is getting yourself back to ship-shape, or as good as it gets, with her able assistance.

I'm thinking of you, catnip. You ought to be post-op and awake by now. We'll wait for a return-and-report on RFM. You will probably be back home tomorrow. A friend of mine had your kind of surgery, due to an accidental fall, right before Christmas. She was groggy, bundled up on the couch in her cozy socks, all through Christmas, and everyone enjoyed waiting on her. Allow yourself to be waited-on and pampered.
