OK ~

so ~

think of how fast we exmos would be spinning for the earth to go around all 24,901 miles of circumference in 24 hours ~

brb ~ that would be 1037 miles per hour just standing still !!! ~

in b 4 ~ the earth be moving aroung the solar system a 67,000 miles per hour ~

brb ~

in b 4 ~ moving around the galaxy at 500,000 miles per hours ~

brb ~

in b 4 ~ the galaxy itself moving at 2,000,000 miles per hour ~

brb ~

in b 4 ~ making the earth's effective ground speed clocking in at an equal to 2,568,037 frigging miles per hour !!! ~

¿ what tools are they used to gain these measurements ? ~

¿ how often they need to calibrate these instruments to get these accurate measurments ? ~

ALSO ~

¿ why the earth look flat when you stan on it but round when you fly around it ? ~

thx RfM ~

mind blown ~

thx again RfM ~

brb ~

That's why I pee facing Newfoundland because if I peed facing British Columbia I'd get all wet.

Our Galaxy, and 100,000 other galaxies are being pulled, at 1.3 Million MPH (600 Kilometers/second), towards the Great Attractor.

For your consideration

If two people went to the south pole and the first stood in a few inches away from the official marker on a cirle with a 24 inch circumference he'd be merely traveling one inch an hour.

His buddy steps just few more feet away where his circle is 24 yards in circumference. He's traveling one yard an hour or 36 times faster than his friend.

The zillerish facts listed in the OP have immense consequences when one considers time travel.

It becomes not only time travel, but place travel, with speed and trajectory having life or death consequences.

You have to turn your brain inside out to think about this stuff

You have to think of all these things, which after all are "matter," as moving really slowly, in comparison to the speed of light (186,000 mps or about 670 million miles per hour in a vacuum)

The speed of light is really the "standard" or baseline speed of the cosmos. When it slows down, you get matter, apparently in individual pieces or units like atoms, planets, etc.

Just another way of lookin' at stuff

Ultimate of course there is nothing but energy. Slow it down and we get "stuff."
