Message from Quintin Ballard

Five years ago I got a message from Linked In that they had been hacked. Accordingly, I changed my password. I don't spend much time at Linked In.

Last week I got a message from "Audry"somebody announcing my old LI password and that "Audry" had taken over my computer, blah blah. Control of camera, blah blah. Videoed me doing embarrassing things while at porn sites. The thing is, I'd only used the outdated password on that one site, it wasn't like any other pw I've ever used, so no, she couldn't send that video to 5 of my friends if I didn't send some bitcoin right away.

Then today I got the same email from Quintin Ballard. I just about sent it to Junk when it dawned on me--those are two common Mormon names, not so common elsewhere.

Surely, surely, Quintin Ballard isn't trying to blackmail me!

This happen to anyone else? Come to think of it, "Audry" and her last name are common among Mormons I know.

Got that same message about 2 weeks ago..demanding I send Bitcoin to another email address...I ignored it.
