Personally I always let it all go. If a partial person do not want to follow ethical principles and normal standards of conduct I just give the minimum amount of information to state my point. No hard words and no emotion. Even if I am pissed and sense that the person is at the wrong place in the bureacracy.

Did you ever got accused of being litigious when you left the cult and was treated in a passive-aggressive manner? They were the once adding time and strain to your "case" right?

Not in those exact words, but yes. To Mormons, the only reasons to leave is "lead away by (read in Church Lady voice) SATAN!" or "being offended." This lets them paint us apostates as folks not to trust and keep the members in line.

Combine that with gaslighting and you also have why I avoid my mother and sperm donor.
