They don't really use nappies. Most of the animals in care use pouches and or hanging bags. Bats need batwraps to turn them into little bat burritos. Most of them when they are very small need help to potty. They do go through a lot of inner liners, caregivers do a LOT of laundry! That is why ARC, Animal Rescue Craft Guild, is so important. People sew, knit and crochet for them all over the world. They are also always in need of money if you have a few spare bucks :) During the fires they also needed many koala mittens to protect their little hands while they healed. Koalas have three fingers and two thumbs btw :). You would never guess it but the closest relative to a koala is the wombat. Almost all of them use pacifiers, they call them dummies there. ARC also helps with things like humidicribs for pinkies, food and a lot goes to medical care. They help many carers in AU and TAS.
Potaroos would be a too tiny for me oldpobot. All of the roos have such delicate little legs I would be afraid to handle them. Same for flying foxes and their beautiful wings. They must be washed with lotion and given daily sunbaths. I could see myself caring for pademelons. But my heart is really with wombats. They are like sweet little footballs with legs :).
