+1 on not a chance in hell. I thought the writer did a good job of exposing the open racism exhibited by a subset of Mormons in Utah. They sound as obnoxious and vainglorious as any worst-case privileged frat boy.
Not to imply there are not racist women in Mormondom. I do tend to think they are more passive-aggressive about it, but I'm not even sure about that. I have relatives born at the time and place of the Rosewood race riots. They were still talking about the lynchings at Perry, FL, when I was a kid, a third of a century later. The conversations were quiet, all the more reason for me to strain to eavesdrop.

I suppose it's because Mr. Young is focusing on trying to get BYU's name changed, but he does ignore the blatant racism of Mormonism's founder, Joseph Smith.
