On a serious note, I don't condone her behavior, of course. As several commenters on the news article mentioned, if this was a man and teenage girls, people would want him strung up.

It is disappointing that a supposed adult could make such a decision.

We have been seeing a lot of these in the news. I have often wondered if there was some sort of abuse in their existing relationships that made having a relationship with a child even a viable option, as it would be presumably less threatening.
