With GAs never standing up for their version of Christ in the public spotlight or admitting their mistakes openly but expecting members to do the hard work and get blamed when the church lies, it appears they have made the full transition to the Lamanite Kings.

When the Q15 have their fancy buffets, all expense vacations in Rome and corporate jets - never a care in the world with people attending to them 24/7, do they not sound like the people Zeniff encountered:

"Now they were a lazy and an idolatrous people; therefore they were desirous to bring us into bondage, that they might glut themselves with the labors of our hands; yea, that they might feast themselves upon the flocks of our fields." (Mosiah 9:12)

Is the Book of Mormon so boring they never read their own scripture?

Of course not. Mormons are effectively identical to the Zoramites, with their Rameumptom and pharisaical sanctimonious attitudes, and they don't see the parallels.

Temples are like the Gadiantons with secret signs and tokens, and they don't see the parallels.

Mormons seem to like authoritarian leaders (as long as the dictator appears to take their side), like the king-men, and they don't see the parallels.

Cognitive dissonance is:

My mother, teaching a Gospel Doctrine class one Sunday, carrying on about the Sadducees who "disfigure their faces" so others know they are fasting and Pharisees who "make their phylacteries long" and how wicked it is to make outward shows of faith in order to be recognized by one's peers.

My mother, sitting us all in the front pew in our white shirts and ties, on display, Sunday after Sunday.
