LDS Inc. succumbing to political correctness

As a cultural mormon, it's dispiriting to see how readily the LDS church embraces various pop culture issues de jour. At this rate before to long they are going to be just another bland run of the mill church.

So what part of the good old days are you longing for? The racism? Denying baptism to children of same sex couples? Returning the slasher penalties to the temple endowment? Claiming Native Americans have Hebrew origins?

I mean they still have Amnmon Bundy and Lori Daybell. Exactly how much bat-sh*t crazy do you need?

I would like slasher temple promises to come back during the month of October. That made things very entertaining and more suspenseful during the endowment ceremony and more proof you are joining a cult.

I don't think the church has ever been with social movements

They still actively campaign against ERA and want women to stay home to raise children.

perhaps OP is referring to COB employees no longer required to wear black suits when it's 100F. or Missionaries who can now wear colored shirts?

I guess the time will come soon when women will start wearing pants in Church?

My mother wore them to church when I was a kid. It comes and goes depending on the person. Mormon sister missionaries are wearing pants every day. All women aren't created equal unlike the church would like to think.

If religious leaders don't want to become homeless, they must spin their brand to welcome new donors. Must be getting harder to include the fear as those donors become smarter. Mormon fear is losing the family and or prestige.
