Every TBM knows that Bigfoot is more than imaginary; he just goes by a different name in Mormon lore: Cain!

http://www.mormonthink.com/glossary/bigfoot.htm

And, believe it or not, there is a *real-world* legislative proposal (in Oklahoma) to establish an official Bigfoot hunting season and offer a $25k reward for capturing "the creature."

However, GENUINE Bigfoot researcher-enthusiasts bemoan the idea. D.W. Lee of the Mid-America Bigfoot Research Center explains:

"'A mix between an orangutan and a human,' he said. 'I’ve had 26 encounters that I can say was actually a Bigfoot.'

"But when Lee heard about state Rep. Justin Humphrey’s bill to create an official Bigfoot hunting season, he was anything but thrilled.

"'The efforts of the people out there actually being serious about this – it really hampers us,' Lee said."

The intent is not for anyone to kill the man-beast but to bring him in alive for the reward.

Of course, the TBM knows that Bigfoot-Cain is immune from death anyway, cursed to walk the earth in perpetual misery.

Why do they have to kill it?
What if it's human? Wouldn't that be murder?
There were 16 other species running around at the same time as us at one time. Why is it such a stretch that one of them could have survived besides us?
The hobbits lived in Indonesia up until humans showed up, about 50,000 years ago.

Sounds like you need to learn biology.
Does the term "breeding population" ring a bell ?

What if it's a Taoist Hobbit?

So who is crazier... the mormons or the Oklahoma legislature?

Or the Michigan legislature or the Georgia legislature. . . or Texas. . .

We are in a target-rich environment.

I recall a BYU professor who wanted to use a hot air balloon to pursue Bigfoot in the western Rockies. There was a problem with funding.

I would have picked ‘steering’ as a more confounding problem!

Unless bigfoot only runs downwind.

Maybe he was full of hot air.

"Problem With Funding"
That's what Bigfoot said!

His problem is he couldn't stand on his own two feet, and even if he could were too small.

Since we're talking about Oklahoma, the odds are good that at least a few legislators are young-earth fundie christians.

How do non-mormon YECs and bible-thumpin' literalists reconcile Bigfoot with Noah's flood? Either Noah brought in two Bigfeet (Bigfoots?) onto the ark, or Bigfoot evolved(!) from a different animal saved by Noah.

And what in tarnation is Bigfoot doing in Oklahoma? I thought they stuck to forests and hid in the trees. Now they skulk around oil fields?

Bigfoot erotica is a profitable niche market. Romance novels no longer do it for a lot of women.

Bighand, Bighead, Bigtail, etc...

They had better pack up their junk and head WEST. Everybody knows that's where IT lives.

I traveled last year and snapped pics of Bigfoot sculptures/ totems in 5 western states, including Utah, Washington, Idaho, Arkansas, and Colorado, I think. I'm sure I drove past IT in several other states (of mind) too.

Bigfoot hunting and crypto zoology is totally awesome. I figure if folks can believe in the Lucy monkey man creation hypothesis, and Neanderthal skunk apes, then this is just as good, if not better!

That makes sense.

If science leads to truth, then science must also lead away from truth.

Impeccable.

Bigfoot came across Howard Hughes in the desert, but HH's car wouldn't start; Bigfoot gave Howard a ride.

No word on a rumored new will from Howard Hughes.

Nominating actresses who could play Mrs. Bigfoot in the movie ...

That's funny. Bigfoot hunting is illegal in Skamania and Whatcom Counties in Washington.

Why has no one mentioned the 3 Nephites and the 3 Big foot? One in the US south one in the Pacific northwest and one in the Himalayas. There are two in the USA because the USA in Gods promised land. The two in the USA meet in Missouri annually with the prophet.

I thought everyone knew about this. They are protected by God so they will never be caught. If you try to catch one you will be on the bad list of Jesus and his right hand man - Horney Joe.
