Soon St George will be involved in Water Wars with other cities (Las Vegas) & possibly also with Cali.

who has the better attorneys? Crap Shoot > poor investment unless you (buyer) has access to own / private water supply, BUT if everything else dries up (in a 30 yr drought cycle now), where will you shop, go to a movie, get fuel for your car or Lear Jet?

St George won't tell you about their water disaster looming,
I.just.did.

"Money cannot buy happiness," they say.
Nor taste.

If "They" had money, "They" wouldn't be saying that. Haaaa haaa!!

I can say with every fiber of my bean that money buys an incredible amount of happiness.

I came across a celebrity's quip a little while ago: "Being rich means you can be miserable in a very nice part of town."

Give everyone who buys Dawkins's forthcoming book on Mormonism a complimentary donut?

But the universe is a donut and all faithful Mormons get one of their very own.

"As you ramble through life, Brother,
Whatever your goal,
Keep your eye on the donut,
And never the hole."

When we die, we have the potential to inherit a mansion in heaven. Dawkins is an atheist, therefore he forfeits his mansion.

I feel much more recovered now too thanks to the topic of this post.

It's too bad God no longer pays the janitors. Dawkins would doubtless have kept the celestial toilets spick-and-span.

Toilets have a hole through the center so they are kind of like donuts. See, this is how Scat's post are always on topic and always so helpful to ones recovery from an oppressive religion.

All things bear witness to the glory of OP. Isn't there a scripture that says that?

Comments are hilarious,

“Every single other feature of this place looks cold and alienating but then BOOM, ball pit slide”

If that's the case they can just stuff it.

So where should I stick my sizable collection of Big Mouth Billy Bass? (All responses rhyming with "bass" will be summarily ignored.)

That's proof that you can have a lot of money, but no taste. Why would you ever want (potentially) slippery steps in a bathroom? And why the bunk beds in one of the children's rooms? Don't they have enough bedrooms so that everyone can get their own room?

I don't know what high-end properties go for in St. George, but it strikes me that if you ever wanted to unload this place, it might take a very long time to sell. You don't want to be the outlier in terms of price.

No taste?
That explains it. The designer, builder, owner had a lingering case of COVID19.

I was looking at recently built architect-designed houses this weekend, and all I can say is that I don't know what the heck they are teaching in architecture school these days. It simply can't be that difficult to come up with a nice looking, contemporary style house. And yet, they are grinding out these soulless houses that look like they glued a bunch of cubes together. They look like commercial properties, and not very nice ones at that.

The whole thing, both inside and outside, looks like it was created after a very bad nightmare.

To call this ugly building a castle, is an insult to all the castles in the world.

A relative bargain compared to a water front mansion in the exclusive Vancouver BC neighborhood of Point Grey that just sold for C$45M!
