Who do I talk or write a letter to? Is there a temple building committee? Sending a couple letters would be best but who should I address them to? Any ideas or inside knowledge?

I walked all the way around it and the only impression I formed was “very mormon templish” which in my mind is not a good thing.

Again; hubby and I are driving north on pacific coast highway. Me: What's that? Spouse: the new temple. Wow! I like the NewPort temple because it is a simple design and reflects the older Spanish Style California missions. I had to look twice to see if it was a mormon building. The tan color is good. (a little too pink). I know the church doesn't care about what I think.

The kids around here will most likely use the steeple for target practice.

They did send me a nice reply and said they would pass it on. That surprised me.

Perhaps they can make the temple look like a giant ham. I know, wrong Smithfield, but still, the analogy kind of works.

I use to know the project manager head guy up there he lived in Cache Valley, the guy who use to build all the south american hinkley mc-temples. He was loaded, the kick backs and gratuities the bretheren give their friends are enormous, and the gravy train goes on and on, but he's probably retired, so I'm not sure who's the manager now.

Actually, that would make a helluva book, but TBM's would say "They gave everything for the church so they deserved a little extra in return."

If you send a really really big envelope full of money, someone from the church might contact you and listen to what you have to say about their temple.
