Like Disneyland the LDS church is a land of make believe. It even has castle like buildings called temples as it’s focal point. You can enjoy several sections based on fabricated history or fabricated holy books or fabricated prophets. You get non-stop fantasized stories and can even join the club that gets to go into the magical castle if your dues are paid up. The whole point of this charade is to make you feel special so you never leave and keep paying to stay in.

Constant exposure to the constant lies, the gaslighting to deny past lies, the denial of reality and bombardment of a changing show of fantasy makes one who has had enough dizzy. It’s like living in a spinning clown show or a fun house from hell. You start looking for the exit. When you finally can’t take anymore you run out into the parking lot.

You are traumatized, worn out and maybe even crying from it all wanting your money back. Clowns show up trying to get you to go back in. Now you run farther away to get the clowns off your ass. Later the phone rings and it’s the clowns trying to sell you on coming back. Dammit! They won’t leave me alone. I’m being stalked like them ghosts riding home with me from the haunted house ride. You can leave but the memories still remain and you are still dizzy from the whole experience.

Disneyland is fun. Nothing is required but the price of admission. The rides are real. There are no mental gymnastics required to imagine it is fun. There are no feelings of guilt for enjoying the rides. It's a happy place.

The Mormon church could be more like disneyland. Church could be a happy place where members are built up and leave feeling hopeful, rejuvenated and happy. It could be like that but it isn't.

The Mormon church is not a happy place. Members are taught to imagine that they are happy, but they're not. They are mentally worn out. They are told it is their fault if they are not happy. They are taught to endure to the end for happiness in the next life.

People at Disneyland don't have to use their imagination to have a good time. Mormons have to use their imaginations to believe they are having a good time.

Except they would have to offer multiple different things to ride. That is only for the eternities.

The church has 12 dwarves instead of 7. Doc is in charge now.

Maybe she married Russ in a secret but scared ceremony in the temple. In the temple you can be married to more than one wife and Russ makes the rules. Since the temple is now in an old hotel named after Joseph Smith it could be an LDS version of the Sunset Riot House. Maybe someone is being probed by a Great Salt Lake mud shark. Show me the token and sign and rock on!
