1950 census

I want to look at the 1950 census that was just released. A google search seems to list the church sites and a couple of other ways that seem to charge for information, with a free trial. Is there any that offer one that is free with no strings attached? Any suggestions?

yes. I searched a bit deeper and found that. I found one family so far. It is interesting if a bit tedious. Still trying to figure out how to print all the info I want to. Those census takers went from house to house and wrote everything on the form in long hand. Beautiful handwriting. No religion questions that I could find which I find interesting.

A number of countries do ask about religious affiliation on their national census. As far as I know, the US has never asked about religious affiliation on any census. All information we have about that in the US comes from private polling.
