What made it good to you?

Did he announce actions to physically address any of the actual issues in the world? Did he apologize to gay people for the church's role in discrimination? Did he admit it is wrong to keep power from women, especially over their own bodies?

I'm wondering if we have lowered the bar for the conference GA talks so low that we think it is good if they offer nothing of substance as usual.

I just enjoyed listening to his rambling.
Nothing in particular.

I can't listen to Nelson. I personally don't have anything against the man. I do respect his medical career but as a church leader he makes me cringe big time.

True, though in my ear none were more difficult to listen to than Monson; that sing-song cadence of his was unbearable.

Did he say we can say Mormon again?

2. discover the joy of daily repentance. required of any accountable person. repenting is the key to progress. do not delay the daily repentance. if you feel you have wandered out of contact
3. learn about God and who he works. Moses provided discernment. Cast Satan's influence out of your life.
4. seek and expect miracles.
5. end the conflict in your life.

Elder Nelsen is doing damage control because boys scouts is being sued and the lds church will pay many millions of dollars.
How convenient is it to have the prophet tell all it's members to end conflict and to forgive?
Basically now even less people will report a pedophile to the police because they want to follow the prophet.
But the church does have a written policy in place that says it must be reported.

Of course, I could be way off as Sam Young is shining a light on the lds youth-worthy interviews. We are commanded to forgive everyone and god will judge at the end.

The only guy I wish I could have killed was an LDS guy named Rusty, who had a fling with my wife. I never got to do damage tos him, because he up and died. So I can't tolerate anyone who goes by "Rusty," as Rusty does among friends and family. For me, the event is still a slog to get over.
