Perhaps what’s inside those black holes, the singularity, is actually what we call heaven. And what we call god, is really that background field responsible for creating everything out of ‘nothing’ which turns out to be really something.

This is borderline gibberish, and "we", however literally or metaphorically you interpret we, are not light slowed down. You keep saying that. It continues to be b*******.

She? Seriously? For all your claims of being a feminist, the misogyny is just below the surface. A dangerous, destructive force at the center of the galaxy. Of course it would be a she, not an it.

And last time you ran a thread on this subject, what, ten days ago, LW pointed out that we do not know if singularities actually exist. For one to exist, space and time would have to be infinitely subdividable. Maybe they are, but I seriously doubt it. We know with pretty considerable confidence that energy is not infinitely subdividable, We know black holes exist. Singularies are predicted by the math, but it is entirely possible that the math breaks down as matter approaches a singularity state. We really don't know.

BTW, "infinite gravity" is also excellent fertilizer. The inverse square law also applies to black holes, and outside their event horizon their gravity is not strong enough to prevent the escape of light, Therefore, not infinite. Even inside the event horizon, the gravity is not infinite. Enormous, yes. Infinite, no. If it were really infinite, the inverse square law would no longer apply. The square root of infinity is still infinity.

Which is yet another reason I question whether literal singularities actually exist in the real world, as opposed to in an equation.

You do realize that photons travel at the speed of light, don't you? You can't "slow down" light to create photons, since light IS photons which always travel at the speed of light by definition.

That is a tasty word salad. Besides light consisting of photons and throwing in some massless neutrinos, you have some higher dimensions of string theory and the zero point field. So, points for sounding like Egon Spengler on acid.

The end of space-time may be interesting, but it ends for each of us when we die. The end of time is more in the religious realm, which nowadays fits into some fringe theoretical physics. Okay fine, but how do you tie it into the Mormon experience?

You write as if time is real. It's not, according to the Wheeler DeWitt equation. It may be emergent.
