I come from a family of gun owners, though I don't own any. we were farmers. You do need guns on farms. My dad would only let my brothers use guns on our farm and he had to be with them.

I do remember actually when our SS teacher took us to shoot guns--boys and girls.

At such a time, this activity should have been cancelled.
