That question made me lose my train... Of thought. Oh, yeah a head of state mandate of heaven Uber person died...

Because HM the Queen died in Scotland Operation Unicorn is being observed. The Queen will be taken from Balmoral to Holyroodhouse , Edinburgh on Sunday. From there her coffin will be taken up the Royal Mile to St Giles Cathedral where she will lie in state for only a few hours.
Later in the day she will be flown to London...the original plan was for her coffin to be taken to London from Edinburgh on the Royal Train. As soon as she crosses into England Operation London Bridge takes over from Operation Unicorn.

I got so confused by this. I didn't know the bridge in Lake Havasu even went up.

I don't think I'm going to ever say King Charles without adding the word spaniel.

I want to know what the plan was for her Corgi dogs. I hope they get lots of love.

How many jobs were lost at the Queen's passing?

How many people woke up this morning with no where to go and nothing to do because she shuffled off her mortal coil?


Is that a valid way by which to judge a person's life, by the number of people who depend on you to stay alive so they can have something to do?


I've left detailed instructions on how the world is to proceed upon my demise.

I think Charles will largely be a placeholder, and will reign ten, fifteen years tops, then the crown will pass to William, who carries much less baggage, and Kate, who may actually turn out to be as good, if not better at that aura of near-perfection that Elizabeth had.

I expect Charles will be fastidious about doing his duty, and for the time being, that will be enough.
