My son just called me and asked if I wanted to go to lunch. My answer was: "Sure, and I'm buying".

The reason he wanted to meet me was he was just in Orem driving past the Missionary Mall and the wind had blown the big blow up Elder over. He said from the street one of the arms was blowing up and down in such a way that it looked like the missionary was "flogging the bishop". He was so amused he just had to share the event with his apostate father.

Of course I asked if he managed to get any video on his phone, unfortunately he was driving and didn't want to wreck. We still had a good laugh over it.

It's been a lot of fun having him back around. He's the only one in the family that doesn't run away from my comments about the church. I'm still not sure how TBM he really is, but he's not shy about sharing his opinion on church things - even the negative opinions.
