I think in the past two GenCons, there has been mention or statements alluding to the fact that there is lots of upheaval in the world and that praying for peace might be a good thing to do. If that is not enough of a call out to what is going on over there, I don't know what is.

I think the General Authorities should fast and pray until there is world peace.  It's the Christian thing to do, after all!

If that doesn't work, Rusty needs to extend his mighty, sinewy right arm and command that the world cease its endless hostilities.  He needs to set a deadline and carefully list the consequences of any failures to heed the Word of the Lord.

That might get news coverage as far away from church headquarters as maybe Winnemuca Nevada.

They should manifest the power of the priesthood but collectively fasting for peace until they succumb to starvation ot world peace breaks out, whichever cones first.
