Infant baptism- abusive (old video clip)

This is old but I ran across it again today. It pushes my buttons big time.

It's a little clip of some priest jerk baptizing an infant. Honestly, I think the guy has cruelty pervert issues. This isn't all about performance. I suspect he gets off on it.

Even people watching seem uncomfortable. Why do people submit their children to this kind of crap? Honestly I think this is child abuse.

Maybe it conditions the believers to accept whatever uncomfortable thing their church does. This is not a ritual a loving god would approve of doing, but they don't even pretend god is about love anymore, IMO.

Snopes had a statement from the Greek Orthodox church repudiating the video, but this is not the only "enthusiastic" baptism video out there.
