Obviously without living prophets to guide them they used cinnabar to their detriment. I wonder if this could explain some book of Mormon stories?

There were no Lamanites. Or Nephites. The 'plates' were imaginary.

You probably know this already, but the entire veracity
of the Mormon church hinges on the reality of golden plates.

There never were any physical plates.

Don't take my word for it. Look into it and see.

Wait a minute here. The kinderhoek plates were a fraud but they were real. So if the BOM plates were a fraud then they'd be real too.
It all makes sense to me now.
