More details of the church sheltering sex abusers and the church's practice of "do what we pretend to do, not what we really do."
I can't even begin to understand how their defense, "we want what's best for everyone" can even be considered.

An AZ appellate court is backing them up, i.e., the church followed the law.
Here's the kicker: The rapist would likely still be raping them today, with the church still 'protecting' him, but for his posting videos of the acts on the internet. He was tracked down, arrested, and committed suicide.
But we can all take solace in knowing that the church means well; ghawd wants what's best for all concerned, except maybe the victims, but they seldom have the priesthood, so . . .
