As many of you know the same temple films were used for decades. Then in the 2010s, at least three new ones were introduced, only to disappear a few years later.

Why? All the normies/midwits in the church kept repeating the public line that the change was made so that the endowment could be more easily adapted to variousblanguages.

It's also easier for the church to adjust meaning by adding/removing words from powerpoint slides. Also, can be readily translated for multiple languages.

Yup. I’m sure they pulled the movies because of the abuse. I think it just drove it home that movies were expensive and you have to rely on so many people to make them. With the internet if anyone involved in the movie gets bad publicity it taints the movie. Plus even if a well done movie gets old. It why they made three of them.

I think they are seeing how these still shot presentations go. They just avoid a lot of problems and have more flexibility with them. The whole endowment will continue to get simplified. It very well could be that you get a longer session with more explanation for sessions for the living. Sessions for the dead really could be the four tokens and a prayer circle.

From what I understand the tokens are no longer received during the ceremony but you give them at the veil. Maybe that’s simplified as well. Maybe they got rid of the memorized lines you have to spout off. Maybe they just ask for a particular token and you give it to them. No more of the silly “what is wanted?”
