I'm referring just to mormonism, not the whole world at large...

Oh. I was going to say you can have one every 50 years.

In Mormonism, most thankfully I wasn't in long enough to know this (or much else) about them.

I'm curious about church rigamarole/traditions in mormonism regarding 50-year wedding anniversaries ... if any.

Heck, I can't really say that I know much about the non-mormon world, in terms of what moderate to affluent White folk, and their offspring, do when the couple hit the big 5-0...

Never will hit a big 50 for me, however, overall it depends on the person(s).

My wife and I both for the past two or three years have forgotten our anniversary. We do not worry about traditions or dates, since they are not relevant to being happy in a relationship.

If you are sealed for time and all eternity, you have to get a gold gift every 50 years forever, That’s why the angel came back for the plates.
