If the Lamanites were conquered by an Asian tribe and they killed all the men there would be no Lamanite YDNA. Lets say this new tribe had children with the Lamanite women and later another Asian tribe conquered this tribe and killed everyone but the young men to turn into slaves this would wipe out the maternal dna also.

The simplest explanation for the lack of Lamanite DNA is there were no Lamanites to begin with.

Orcs could have fought on the side of the Asians. The Lamanites did not have an alliance with the elves.

I mean as long as we're considering the impossible. Lamanites breeding like rabbits, maybe 10 to a litter, and having enough protein powder and spare time to look like gym rats.

Geneticists have identified a period early in HSS history in which the population fell to an isolated pocket of some 125 individuals in southern Africa. There was a clearly observable genetic bottleneck. If the bulk of Native Americans had suddenly been wiped out, we would see the same genetic phenomenon 2000 years ago.

There is no such BoM bottleneck: the genetic pattern goes uninterrupted until the introduction of Western diseases some 5-600 years ago, when the sudden and precipitous collapse of NA populations evinces an almost shrinkage in the extant gene pool.

The lack of such a bottleneck when the BoM claims Native America was destroyed proves definitively that the Mormon narrative is false.

The main problem is too many focus on Lehi and his small band.

They forget the Mulekites. A much larger band and possibly a much larger DNA pool.

Toss in Zoram as well.

So the diversity would include Ephraim, Manasseh, Judah, Benjamin and what ever servant/slave DNA that came along with it.

Then look at the Lemba tribe in Africa, not only preserving jewish DNA but Cohen DNA.


If it were true, if the people numbered in the millions, something would be preserved even if it was in skeletal remains.

Has anybody noticed missionaries no longer carry around the Quad?
They only carry the Bible and the Book of Mormon. They don’t want to talk about the BoA or D&C 132, at all! I got into a heated argument with a pair of missionaries over D&C 132 compared to Compton’s In Sacred Loneliness, especially Zina and Henry Jacobs.
The pair of missionaries first claimed to have read the Church’s article on Plural Marriage in Kirtland and Nauvoo. Then had no idea how many wives Joseph Smith had. When I told them that article said he had 34 wives, 13 of whom were married to other men at the time Joseph “married” them. I say “married” in quotes because you could never legally ‘marry’ a wife who is already married to someone besides you.
They called me a liar and left.
They came back about a week later and apologized, after actually reading the article on Mormon.com
But they still insisted that he didn’t actually have sex with them so there was nothing wrong with that!
My mind was blown at how stupid Mormon missionaries are, these days, having access to the internet, and never really doing independent research on their own religion they are selling full time.

The way JS wrote down and codified the rules for polygamy as "revealed by the Holy Ghost" in D&C 132 and then broke almost every one of them is almost funny, except that it's sad.
