Tonight we are going to have some nevmo family over. we are making "shot-and-a-beer-chicken" with a white-wine sangria and I'm planning to top it off with a 10-year port (Taylor Fladgate) and some sliced apples. I find this to be a great combination.

My business associates in Japan introduced me to Japanese whiskey. It’s damn good and I’m a big single malt and select barrel bourbon guy.

It's been a hot day in Maryland, and after some work on the deck planting flowers (and a run to Home Depot for more,) I'm enjoying a glass of chilled Chardonnay. I like it with ice cubes when I'm by myself, but my family would find that scandalous. Shhhh! ;)
