I knew a trans man who was staying with a family that adopted an abused dog.

The dog's former owner was a really mean lady who beat and mistreated her, and the result was that the dog wouldn't go near females, just guys. She would run away from me and I couldn't get near her.

But to my trans male friend, he was just one of the guys. He could play with her and pet her. I couldn't.

After paying tithes and offerings that's all I could afford. At least they left the light on for me!

My mother never cared for my ailing father. She wouldn't bath him. I felt sorry for the people at the temple who had to be next to him as he did his patron calling while my mother was a worker.
