I figure many of you will think this is my suggestion for what to use for the sacrament at church, but it's not.

What's your favorite snack (if any) when you're sitting in front of your computer/tablet/phone, enjoying your very spiritual dalliance with RfM?

I shell the peanuts and put the husks in a ceramic bowl ... then when I'm done, I pour a bit of the cheap whiskey on the shells, light this offering, and pray to nothing and no one.

I may not go through as many peanuts or whiskey as others, but I am doing my share for the descendants of George Washington Carver.  (He's the man who invented peanuts...)

If it's late afternoon or evening, then I'm enjoying a glass of chilled chardonnay, and maybe a snack. Snacks include cheese and crackers, blue cheese, olives and feta, devilled eggs, sourdough bread and butter, liverwurst slices with mustard, etc. And no, I am *not* skinny. lol

Late at night, it's a tall glass of milk and a cookie. I bake very nice chocolate chip cookies on the regular, but in a pinch, a store bought cookie will do.

Normally I save peanuts for my forest friends. I fill my birdfeeders and leave a mix on the ground consisting of dried corn, seed, peanuts, and dried cranberries. Lately I've been adding in some peanuts in shells. Sometimes the critters get fresh fruit if it will otherwise go bad. I get a steady stream of visitors, and I very much enjoy their visits. This afternoon so far I've had a baby groundhog and a fox visiting, along with many birds. The mallard ducks and the deer will also be along at some point.

That's a great song. Ranks right up there with Midnight in Harlem, and both have been done deliciously by so many artists. . .

Christ had it right. Wine and peta bread. Throw in some roasted lamb, figs and olives you have the beginning of something.

There's no connection to your shrine to Lady Gaga?

Right.

Roasted nuts while drinking sounds wonderful. Not. But not bad for a weeknight I guess.
