I have a post pending that uses nothing but acceptable Eglish words and yet you say I have used an objectionable word. I have read and reread the post and can find nothing that could remotely be taken as objectionable where English is spoken and understood. Can you enlighten me in an email?

I do know that there is a filter that can be extremely puzzling in its choices. A lot of times it's a smaller word that is contained within a larger word.

The only solution is to go through paragraph-by-paragraph, and then sentence by sentence. I've gotten caught a few times lately as well, and I know it's frustrating. Sometimes I just alter how I express things.

Not sure how many times I can reread the post and find nothing even remotely objectional in any way I understand. It is absurd. I will bag it and spare you all my erudition. lol

It's as summer has said. I've had that same experience. It may not, as in your case, be a discrete word that sticks out as objectionable. More likely either a harmless-seeming one that has been banned for some reason or a portion of a word - you won't be able to guess it without doing the trial-and-error posting method summer mentions.

I guess it depends on how much you want us to read your blurb how long you want to fool around with it. :)

kentish, when I get that message, I do what summer does. I copy the post. Then I try pasting sections of it using Preview to locate what section is giving the objectionable message. I can usually locate the problem word quickly, edit it, paste in full, and then post ok. It's usually something small that implies spam marketing or such. It doesn't happen all that often.

I'm guessing it's just a program to help control drive by, violence or spam posts. I've never seen a list of words. It could be lengthy.

I think that Susan I/S mentioned years ago that it's in the best interest of the board to keep that list of banned words a secret. ;)
