I read on Facebook that missionaries the members are to refer to the book of Mormon as the book of Jesus Christ not sure if it’s official did anybody else hear of this?

Very good point.
Plus, how is it The Book of Jesus Christ?
I'm somewhat allergic to saying the full name like that as it was my father's favourite swear which he employed often and adamantly so it doesn't ring right for me ever after even in a benign setting. But just saying 'Christ' is way worse, which an LDS sis mish did O.F.T.E.N. and it was exceptionally coarse-sounding even though she didn't mean it like that but she was annoying so her usage came across that way too. A woman I knew who worked in a medical clinic employed it with admirable frequency and feeling. The MDs in the adjacent clinic where I worked were all Christian. They were appalled but she didn't work for them and she didn't hold back even knowing their EV persuasion. You have to admire that. Just a person being themselves.
It still clangs to me. But that's my delicate ears. Others are obviously immune. :P
