O/T I feel like I know them

The violence in foreign countries currently is tragic for all concerned but right now I'm so afraid that our foreign correspondents might get hurt or killed. I'm grateful that for the most part the U.S.A. has some very reliable broadcasters (not talking about social media) and I'm starting to feel an attachment to some of the war correspondents because they are on the news so often now and risking life and limb to bring us accurate news that many countries never hear. I'm sending them my wishes for their safety.

I hope this won't be taken as a political comment.

Yes, indeed. I watch Norah O'Donnel on CBS every weekday evening, and she has been broadcasting from Israel. Reporters who go into war zones do a very dangerous job. May they all stay safe.
