All Faiths Apocalypse

If I were an alien realtor, I'd keep my office open this weekend; any half-way observant alien knows what just how dumb humans can be.

More likely to see Paul Bunyan with Babe the Blue Ox. They are just as real.

At least Paul Bunyon would be speaking English...

How many of the Apostles speak Hebrew or Adamic?

I've often wondered how many thousands of years need to go by before someone finally says, "Gee, maybe he isn't coming back."

He's there alright. But you can only see him with your spiritual eyes not your mortal eyes. That's why the Mormons will always be right because they are the only ones who can see him.

More people have seen Jesus than have seen Elvis or Tupac.

At least another 2,000 years. I've been watching people. They don't change. Jesus is useful tool in the superiority one-upmanship game.

Extreme poverty facing 500 million in Afghanistan after severe quake Oct 14th, last week.

That is indeed a major disaster, emphasized by the fact that the population of Afghanistan is only about 40 million...

Duh.

You and Soft Machine are making a glaring logical mistake, for squirrley never said he was speaking about humans.

Speciesism, pure and simple.

I thought maybe he just meant rodents.

For some reason, it's only when I'm southbound that I shoot a pic of their city sign.  It always makes me smile...

I take it as confirmation that I'm still young at heart.

You see? Now we're getting somewhere.

Save the gerbils! Where's Sally Struthers when you need her?

You'd think at least he'd drop by with a few thousand fishes and loaves of bread. Perhaps do the wine trick?

Since the publication of the Book of Revelations, how many conflicts in the Holy Land were thought to be the final battle described in John's sci-fi novel?

"In all, eight major Crusade expeditions—varying in size, strength and degree of success—occurred between 1096 and 1291."

I wondered how many times conflict in The Holy Land, and Jerusalem specifically, could have been considered to be following, however loosely, the plot line laid out by John the Revelator and found this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_Jerusalem#:~:text=During%20its%20long%20history%2C%20Jerusalem,captured%20and%20recaptured%2044%20times.

When you're retired, you have time to sit and gape at just how little you really know.

With what will happen to the price of gas, he might show up in a Prius.
