Just for fun.

I guess this is an AI’s portraits of European’s stereotypical views of Americans from the 50 different states. That’s what it’s supposed to be anyway. But who knows? As an American, I don’t even have a stereotypical view of people from each of the states. I prefer to see them as diverse and inclusive, a melting pot of P.O.C.. I’ve only been in a handful of states. So I could give my view of those. The rest… dunno. I could give some stereotypes for farmers vs. city dwellers. Cities are more diverse. Most of the states have some rural areas as well as urban areas, and I feel like that would be the biggest difference between people.

Perhaps you think the memes are funny. I don't.

Goes to show what the world thinks of Americans. In my lifetime, we were admired and appreciated. Not anymore.

I'm surprised that foreigners have any impression at all of all fifty states. I wouldn't expect that, any more than most Americans could be expected to have an impression of the British Midlands, Hesse state in Germany, the Grand Est in France, or any number of other places.

The church could generate scenes of Nephite and Lamanite life in ancient America and Mormons would think they are real.

I think most Americans have the same stereotypical view of fellow Americans. I know I do. The same goes for what Americans think of European countries: the Germans all wear lederhosen and drink beer out of beer steins; the Swiss wear dirndls, eat cheese and play alpenhorns; the French wear berets and sit in cafe's all day eating baguettes; the Dutch all wear wooden clogs and those funny pointy hats, etc.

It's all in good fun.

"Not just Germans," says, with a tear and a sniffle, one aggrieved RFMer

Ignoring your blatant attempt at a threadjack, I thought they almost had you with Montana.

Utah's pretty good, too. You can't be sure where the daughters stop and the wives start.
