The lighter half of Starsky and Hutch has died.

When I was younger my brother was a disc jockey at a local radio station. He would play Kasey Kasum's top hits of the week program during his time slot. He brought home one weeks vinyls once. I guess the program manager gave it to him or something. But that weeks Number One hit was..."don't give up on us baby" by David Soul. We must have listened to that song hundreds of times. He was a terrible singer, and the song itself was sugary. But the memory of me and my brother sitting in his room listening to those records, talking, and signing along is priceless.

I used to watch that show every week as a kid! Barretta was another good one around that time.
