I just saw a hilarious advertising commercial on my local CBS station. Its was Marie Osmond hawking Nutrisystem. (You'd think it was better than plastic surgery!)

Anyway, she said, I kid you not:

"If it wasn't true, they wouldn't say it."

I see her ads all the time. I think they are aimed at seniors, since they are on the same channels as the endless Medicare Advantage ads. Marie is attractive, but her face has had so much work done on it that it doesn't look natural anymore.

My cell blocks all numbers not in my contact list. Never have to deal with this or political calls.

Unfortunately I need to receive certain calls and can't possibly have them all as contacts. Heck, my sprinkler service has at least 4 phone numbers and sometimes they use their personal numbers.

It's frustrating. I don't answer an unknown number unless I am expecting someone to call. It's a shame that due to all this stuff the functionality of using the phone has been diminished. I have to tell people to text me instead.

I had to get a new phone and I am SO lost. I went from s8 to s24 and there are a lot of differences. Not that I was so great with the s8. Sigh. I THOUGHT I was just turning off things like YT alerts but I turned EVERYTHING incoming off and I missed two important calls from my Vet. Calls from him are my highest priority and he even has his own howling wolf ringtone lol. I have to go in this week and I am going to make sure I have ALL their numbers as contacts. I think I can even group them together. Maybe. I think.
