An article in the April '24 'The Atlantic', The Secret Gospel which regards the claim of a 'lost' (now found-recovered) manuscript which Columbia professor Morton Smith posits constitutes as a new, additional New Testament gospel (found-recovered in 1958, declared FAKE by one of Smiths colleagues in 1975).

Morton Smith discovered the Mar Saba letter while cataloging ancient texts in the monastery's library. The letter was purportedly written by Clement of Alexandria to one Theodore, and references a secret Gospel of Mark:

Both probable modern forgeries but with a fascinating backstory.

...because they found the body. It was in the "James Ossuary"--also a fake.
