April 6th is the true birthday of Jesus. One of the special things that Mormons know that the world doesn't.
Maybe not quite up there with knowing the sacred handshakes to get into heaven...but still!

So, conference starts today, on Jesus' birthday! Shouldn't they make a big deal about it in their talks today like they would at a Christmas meeting?

Maybe they will. We'll see.

IMO, if they don't mention it, they are telling the members it was wrong, it was a lie, and to shut up about it.

It's Christmas for me too. I live in Utah County. There are only two Saturdays a year that I can go to Costco and shop in peace. Well, at least between 10-12 and 2-4.

Most Mormons won’t watch the screens. They are glad there is no church on Sunday and why waste a free weekend watching something that will be the topic of church lessons and talks for the next six months.
