A new grandson O/T

My youngest son just called to tell me their little boy was born this morning. I am so thrilled. This makes 11 grandchildren for me. I'll be heading to CA in the next couple of weeks to spend a little grandma time with them.

Of course, they are thrilled the baby was born on Easter. Me? I'm just happy the baby is finally here...he was several days overdue. He weighed over 9 lbs.

Congrats Gemini!

Grandkids are the best. It is kinda cute that he was born on Easter, although he will probably have very few Easter birthdays.

I am expecting a new grandson in Sept. Might be the last one I get--that's three kids and only 4 grandkids. But my mother had so many in our big TBM family that none of them were special. I do like that each of my grandchildren has a really special place in my life.

I just got a picture. He looks like my son. He's a big baby. I am so glad my d-i-l could deliver him without having a c-section.
