There was an article in the Trib about the arrest of 114 individuals in Utah on child porn charges. An investigating officer said the following:

"Utah’s rates of child pornography offenses generally exceed national norms, Farnsworth said.

"We have more children per capita, more computers per capita and also are more trusting than other states."

It seems yet another bad sexual thing having some kind of roots in Mormonism and repressed sexual thinking. I'm only guessing, but Utah always makes a big show in these areas. Certainly the part about Utahns being "more trusting than other states" is rooted in Mormonism.

Why is that?

I think most of us knew about more children per capita and rather than more trusting, I'd say more gullible.

He's fu(<ing blaming the kids here!

The reason there are so many trusting kids willing to obey an authority figure 100% is because they are taught to behave that way by idiot Mormon parents.

The most glaring difference between UT and other states is the Mormon cult's control on the thinking of the people, and this creep who is most likely Mormon, wants to shift the blame elsewhere - even to blame kids because there are so many of them. Sick cult!

WTF?! more kids means more child porn?

No, there is more child porn because there are more sexual predators, that has nothing to do with kids per capita!

The really interesting question to ask would be why there are more sexual pedators that prey on children in Utah.

114 investigations yielded 39 arrests, not 114 arrests. That means 75 people were investigated for child porn and not enough evidence was found to arrest them. I wonder what the fall out will be for them? Of the 39 arrests it will interesting to see how many are convicted. Several of them were known sex offenders, already a good bet.

The statement about the number of kids in the state doesn't make much sense to me either.

Is it possible that Mormonism infantilises the sexuality of some people, so their sexual mindset remains stuck at a child level?

Or that paedophiles have a network that tells them the best places to live in if they want to live below the radar?

If a child porn producer has access to one or two children, h/she might be more likely to involve them.

If there were several or many in the household, more of them would likely be misused in this horrific way.

My TBM pervert uncle had three daughters, two nieces, and his high school students to prey on, so he might have had more victims than some other guy who lived alone and had to seek out victims among strangers on the street. So I would think he'd have fewer victims than my uncle with easy accesss to girls of the age he victimized.

LDS doesn't screen their child workers in wards, either. It's a molester's playground.
