National Geographic, some cooking mags, and Skeptic.

Did you swap out your subscriptions with something of greater content?

We had the Ensign at one point because the bish saw we didn't have it and assumed it was 'cause we couldn't afford it.

I just knew, even when I was trying really hard to be TBM, that I'd never read it. I can tell you that my parents get the Ensign every frickin' month and the cover never gets cracked. How many other TBMs do you think do the same thing?

The only mag I subscribe to at this time is Whole Living. However, I love magazines and could really go hog wild if I wanted to spend the dough. I really like NG too!

I take the boys to the library on average 3 X week for "Homework Club" and while they are doing that, I indulge in all the magazines they offer.

Because it meant less questions from my mom. Even when I was a believer I hardly read them, or hardly read them to my kids.

My parents subscribe to the Ensign and I guarantee you that magazine is read, re read, and memorized until the next issue comes a callin'.

For awhile we were getting The Friend from someone, never knew who, assumed it was my parents. It has since stopped coming...

The "Watchtower" and "Awake" magazines.

Just kidding..... but other than the Ensign's better quality paper and pictures, the text is the same fallacious gibberish.... "True believers of the truth blah blah blah..."

However, my wallet now has a Starbuck's card and a BevMo card instead of a temple recommend.

almost exclusively from Amazon. I have Kindle on my wishlist. A wishlist is the same thing as a prayer but for non-believers. The difference is, my wish might come true (do you hear me Santa Claus?) whereas a prayer is just whispering in the wind.

Sunset and Sports Illustrated which I only read when there's a college football article.

Agree with Sports Illustrated, except that I only read the February issue.

Sorry, never read that other stuff. If anyone wants to shell out some coin for the Economist, I'd be truly grateful...

Yep!! MAD magazine!!
A TBM LDS lady once told me I shouldnt be calling "people" on Monday night. I asked why not, and she said that I should be home "reading." I said "Reading what, my new mad magazine that came today?" Then she got pissed an said "NO", YOUR SCRIPTURES!" I laughed and hung up on her. BTW, I tossed ALL that BOM,QUAD, and all literature of lies from the mormons into the fireplace! Hope it went back to hell where it came from!!! I felt a lot better afterwards!
