Main EXMORMON.ORG is infected with a virus.

I just googled the main website to get to the baord and bam I was hit with this. My computer cleaned it but it looks like someone hijacked an ad or link.

I just got the same thing - my virus protection would not let the site load. Had to type in the url to come directly to the forums.

I told admin two days ago, still there. I have two bookmarks for RFM, one for the main page, and one for this board. If I come directly to this board, no problem. If I try to go to the main page, my AVG virus software blocks a threat.

Can you block access to the main page, while still allowing phorum use?

That might be a good thing to do right now.

This has been fixed today

I don't know where the virus originated. It affected the first page of the site only. It may of come from my ISP via another of their sites. I did not do any updates or uploads to the site on the day corresponding to the date-time of the page.

Please keep us informed if it happens again.

It went away for awhile, but I was just denied access to the opening page again, citing the same virus.

I believe we fixed it permanently late last night

It probably is still originating in our ISP as it reappeared for a 2nd time. I changed passwords, modified the first page to remove any remaining Java scripting and changed file properties. That seems to have solved the problem. It did not return.

Now off to work. sigh...

Word has it that Elohim was posting on RfM as "Anon," so was called in for questioning by Wingnet's wingnut division while the site was purged of his ramblings. (n/t)
