This is truly shocking.

Perhaps my own personal outlook on this is shaped by my experience of Asperger's Syndrome; basically, this limits emotional responses and subdues them to logic.

"Spock-like" has been used to describe us.

For me, at the grand old age of 54, it was a genuine shock to discover that most people navigate the world emotionally, and in terms of internal states rather than rationality.

Personally, I am still coming to terms with this shock.

In a much wider context, I really don't know what the 'rest of the world' can do in terms of behaving more rationally, based on logic.
