Rain? In Southern California?

What next--a plague of frogs?

These are scary times!

By tomorrow morning the whole state will be at a stand still, over a little rain that would not even be noticed in other states lol.

Hubby and I are just getting ready to do a little mountain biking before the big "downpour" lol.

We'll sit in the jaccuzzi afterward drinking champagne. Rain is so romantic.

Insert Brace Yourselves meme here. "Brace yourselves. Californians will forget how to drive."

Seems I've often heard that kind of talk before
It never rains in California, but girl, don't they warn ya?
It pours, man, it pours

I just checked Weather Underground: in Borrego Springs, in the heart of the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, it's 74 degrees at the moment. The next few days will be PERFECT to hike in the desert, kids! And a little rain--if it makes it out that way-- sometimes brings out some critters.

If you like to hike, exploring the Southern California deserts in November is a treat.

And it's almost sleeting/snowing here in Yorkshire.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Something tells me that us Brits are in for a cold winter.

Please, Queen Califia, send some to Northern Utah. We still haven't had a hard frost yet and I'm worried about drought here, too!

Couldn't sleep at 3:30 a.m., went outside to get a few time exposures of the clouds moving in over the moon, and got rained on...awesome! Went out to pick some fruit at 6:45, got rained on...awesome!

It was suppose to be raining *now*, but there's sunshine at my undisclosed location near LA, so I need to get off RfM and go cut firewood and put up a couple of tarps--one of the few good things about a drought is that you leave stuff outside for months and it...well...it just sits there.

P.S. Unlike TBM's, I use the word "awesome" sparingly so that it actually has impact. Like, totally awesome, dude!

P.S. I don't think TBM's ever say "Totally awesome, dude!" unless they're *really* from SoCal.

Moisture

It's Moisture, not rain(ing)
