I just checked Weather Underground: in Borrego Springs, in the heart of the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, it's 74 degrees at the moment. The next few days will be PERFECT to hike in the desert, kids! And a little rain--if it makes it out that way-- sometimes brings out some critters.
If you like to hike, exploring the Southern California deserts in November is a treat.
Couldn't sleep at 3:30 a.m., went outside to get a few time exposures of the clouds moving in over the moon, and got rained on...awesome! Went out to pick some fruit at 6:45, got rained on...awesome!
It was suppose to be raining *now*, but there's sunshine at my undisclosed location near LA, so I need to get off RfM and go cut firewood and put up a couple of tarps--one of the few good things about a drought is that you leave stuff outside for months and it...well...it just sits there.
P.S. Unlike TBM's, I use the word "awesome" sparingly so that it actually has impact. Like, totally awesome, dude!
P.S. I don't think TBM's ever say "Totally awesome, dude!" unless they're *really* from SoCal.
