I'm sick of this overcast weather. I'm putting on my bikini and I'm going to sit in the spa and sip on a vodka and cranberry and see if I can get the sun to come out. And no, I don't care that it's not even noon yet. Who's with me?

(If I get one of those annoying posts from a self-appointed topic cop, telling me that this is off topic and shouldn't I be posting this on FB or something, just know that I'm just going to tell you to bite me, so save yourself some time and don't bother.)

Can't stand vodka but I'll take a wine cooler and trust me -- you don't want to see me in a bikini. In fact, the sun gives me a rash so I'll be covered up like a middle easterner -- on the other hand, a wine cooler and shade by the pool sounds lovely. :)

I went out to the pool and soaked up some rays yesterday, knowing full well that today we would be back to sucky weather. I thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend it. Enjoy! Maybe you really will coax the sun out of hiding. If you're successful, can you swing by?

LOL I hear ya Queenie! I'm looking out my window and it's pouring rain right now. It rained last week on my birthday, and now again. Srlsy what is it with the Nor Cal weather lately??

Although I'd take a book and a Mojito. And I probably can't pull off a bikini the way you can. But it's still an excellent plan.

And, on topic, IMO. As an exmo, there just aren't too many places I can discuss finally trying a Mike's Hard Lemonade, or buying something to wear I previously wouldn't have or talk about an R rated movie. Defining your post-Mo life is, most certainly, on topic. Have a nice time at the pool.

It was so funny! The waitress didn't bat an eyelash, just declared that they had sadly just run out of that. So my daughter ordered a regular lemonade. Then I laughed after the waitress left and explained why they had "run out". It's still a family funny story we tell. (I loved the waitress, though -- she got a good tip.)

AS much as I enjoy it here, I miss my southern Cal sun. :(

We are scheduled for 7 days of rain. Sigh.

I got to enjoy it for a little while, though, and even sat in the rain for a bit.

Today started out nice but while I took my walk the clouds rolled in.
